What is rehab?
Rehabilitation can be any form of treatment or therapy designed for someone suffering from alcohol or substance abuse, but can also refer to a wide range of treatments to benefit individuals who find themselves having difficulty managing daily life because of a broad range of addictions.
Healing Springs residential rehabilitation programs not only treat each clients individual struggle with addictions, but also treat the trauma and other underlying issues to resolve the root problems and end the resulting addictive behaviors.
What is the difference between trauma informed care and trauma resolution treatment?
The mental health field has become more and more aware of the complex, radiating effects that unresolved trauma has on an individual mentally, emotionally, physically, and spirituality. With this awareness, the addiction community has responded with a treatment initiative that encourages treatment providers, at a minimum, to offer “trauma informed” care. While this initiative has gained momentum over the last decade, the “exactness” of what specifically “trauma informed” care means is left open to interpretation.
Many treatment providers have quickly responded by adding standardized groups in an attempt to address this need. While this is a tremendous asset to quality treatment, it is only the beginning. It is common knowledge for clinicians who have been treating complex trauma for many years, that unresolved trauma can manifest itself in a myriad of delicately tangled addictive, psychiatric and medical symptoms and diagnoses. Which requires years of training and experience to untangle. While standardized groups are a powerful treatment modality, true trauma treatment can only be provided by highly seasoned and trained clinicians at both a group AND an individual therapy level.
Healing Springs offers more. Our team is led by seasoned clinicians who have experience treating complex trauma- both at an individual and group level. In addition, all of our clinical team has specialized training in trauma resolution techniques (ETT and EMDR) and all have trauma model certification.
What is the difference between dual diagnosis and co-occurring disorders?
Nothing, other than dual diagnosis implies one other diagnosis in addition to substance use disorders and co-occurring allows for more than two other diagnoses in addition to the substance use diagnosis.
Do you treat Dual diagnosis/co-occurring?
Yes, with our Integrated Addiction Model (I.AM) we are able to treat any diagnosis related to substance abuse.
How do I know if I need treatment?
Admitting that you have an addiction problem is extremely difficult for most people, but it’s this courageous step that can lead to a new life free from addiction.
If you’re unable to fulfill your daily responsibilities because of your alcohol or drug usage, if you are experiencing mood swings, if you are hiding your usage from friends and family, if you’re needing to drink more or need more of the drug to get the same feeling, if you are neglecting personal hygiene or if you’re stealing or selling personal items to maintain your habit, then it is time to get help from an inpatient addiction treatment program.
Does Healing Springs Ranch provide detox?
Healing Springs partners with off-campus, sister organizations to provide detox services for our clients. Our team of intake and admissions specialists will assist you in every way with the coordination and logistics for admission to the detox facility. In most cases we will provide ground transportation from detox to Healing Springs once the client is stable and ready for our residential treatment program.
Is treatment covered by my insurance?
Although Healing Springs is a private pay facility, we have a skilled and dedicated team that works with out-of-network insurance providers by using our utilization review process to give our clients the best chance of securing coverage/reimbursement for their treatment. Through utilization of our clients health insurance coverage options, and our affordable self-pay treatment rates, our admissions team will assist you in exploring all of your financial options.
What will be my cost for treatment?
Healing Springs Ranch offers highly competitive rates that will be based on length of stay which will depend on the program our staff creates for each client, typically between 30 and 90 days. Price includes treatment, housing, meals and all activities which include golf, swimming, kayaking and yoga. Contact one of our admission specialists who will be happy to walk you through the cost and intake process.
Do you treat other addictions?
Yes, we treat all chemical addictions (after detox) and all process addictions. Our Integrated Addiction Model focuses on the “function” behind the addiction. With this as our treatment objective we are able to get to the root cause of all ADDICTIVE patterns BEFORE they evolve into another addiction. Since we address the underlying root cause of the addiction, we are able to decrease the chances of relapse and addiction substitution.
